It’s the follow-up that falls through.
The inquiry from the open house that never got a follow-up.
The guest message that sat unanswered all night.
The regular who never rebooked because no one asked.
The estimate that went out and was never followed up.
None of it is hard. All of it is weight. Your AI carries the tracking so you keep your attention for the parts only you can do.
Three steps. The first one is free.
Discovery
We talk. How do you spend a day? What do you check first? What do you dread? Who should it never email? Thirty minutes, free. It’s discovery.
What I’d build, in writing
From that conversation I write you a free proposal: the first job, what it would take, and what you’d have at the end. You decide whether to go ahead. Nothing gets built before it.
Your AI, around your answers
If you say yes, I build it. You see the result before anything goes out. When the first job is working, the next one is there when you’re ready.
- Your own AISet up around your answers.
- A first jobFollow-up on your inquiries, or a morning picture of your day.
- One pageHow to work with it.
A real exchange, condensed.
Why aren’t we live?
My fault. I left the wiring as notes for another part, and it never got applied.
I applied it, and found a bug that would have silently failed every scheduled send. Fixed. Here is a real test email, delivered to the inbox.
What this shows: it owned the miss, checked its own work, and proved the fix with a real test. That is the standard I build to.
I built my own, and it grew with me. Now I build yours.
I’m Mario McNally. I came up in hospitality on the Emerald Coast, front of house, running rooms, teams and numbers. I owned a restaurant of my own. I know what a week costs someone who is also the one holding it together.
So I built for my own business first. Salt Prep Consulting is the practice I’m building from that.
For my own work, so nothing depends on my memory.
One AI per job, each with a written method and hard limits.
Nothing is sent, spent or posted without it.
The questions people ask first.
Why not just use ChatGPT myself?
You can, and for some jobs you should. What you’d be missing is the setup: one conversation about how you actually work, so it starts from your way of doing the job and not a blank box. It lives in your own account, and you see the result before anything goes out.
What do I have to do?
Show up for one 30-minute conversation. Then read the free proposal and say yes or no. If you say yes, look at what it makes before anything goes out.
What does it cost?
The 30-minute discovery is free, and so is the proposal. The full build is the only part that costs anything, and every job is different, so I look at what you already have first. The number is in the proposal you read for free, before anything is built. No flat rate, no guessing on either side.
Will it tell me when it’s wrong?
It can be wrong, so I build it so you see the result before anything goes out and it flags what it isn’t sure of. The exchange above is the example: it names the miss, fixes it and shows the test. It doesn’t decide what you haven’t told it to decide.
Do I keep it, and what happens after the first job?
It lives in your own account, so it’s yours to keep. Your work changes, and it can be updated. Keeping it current is separate and optional: if you want it, I quote it after you’ve seen the first job work. If not, it’s still yours.
What is an AI employee, in plain terms?
Think of a new hire with one defined job. You tell it who it reports to and teach it how you do that job. It does the job the way you taught it and flags what it isn’t sure of.
Is one running for a client today?
What I run every day is my own business. That’s the one I’ll show you. The exchange above is from a previous client’s build, condensed.
Where are you?
Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, on the Emerald Coast.
What’s the job you’d hand off first?
Thirty minutes, free. Tell me how you work and what keeps eating your week. I’ll tell you straight whether I can help. If there’s a real job in it, a free proposal comes next, before anything gets built.
